The Evolution of the Senior Photo....Briick | Bernier Photography | Plainfield | Naperville Senior Photography

Soon to be high school seniors...Look at this ancient treasure that I dug up! My high school senior picture from 25 years ago! Whoa! Thank goodness senior photography has come a long way! Besides the 80's hairstyle, the terrible posing and the ginormous planet that is on my boyfriend's (at the time) face. The best part was my mom had no idea that he came with to the session and didn't find out until our ordering session. Let's just say that was not a fun day. But this was the only picture I had ordered. I have no other pictures from this session. Nothing to show my kids of how I looked when I was their age.

So as I said before...Thank goodness photography has come along away. Unfortunately the school's photography have not. At least they are out of the 80's but some of them are still stuck in the 90's to say the least. The recent trend is that seniors are outsourcing their high school seniors to a more experienced photographer that will not have cheesy back drops, silly props or the dreaded hand under the chin pose.

I can say for sure that this was one of our most favorite families to photograph! We loved being around the happiness and craziness that this family shows!
